01Who runs Vigor Accounting & Taxation?
Mamta Dsilva is Chief Executive Officer and Maurice Dsilva is Managing Director, with Anees Ali as Chief Financial Officer and Nimrah Adnan heading sales and marketing. Below them sit the audit, tax, accounting and advisory teams, around 75 people in total, all on one floor in Business Bay.
02Will I work with a named accountant or a call centre?
A named specialist in the relevant area. The larger bookkeeping bands include a dedicated account executive, and on every engagement the person who takes the first call is part of the team that does the work. There is no call centre and no ticket queue.
03What qualifications does the leadership team hold?
The senior team holds Chartered Accountant, ACCA, CAMS, CMA and AAT qualifications between them. CAMS matters more than it sounds for a Dubai firm, because anti-money-laundering work under goAML is a large part of what UAE businesses now have to get right.
04How large is the Vigor team?
Around 75 professionals across audit, tax, accounting, compliance and advisory, working from the Business Bay office. The firm is deliberately built as one team on one floor rather than a network of branches, so a question that crosses two disciplines is answered by people who sit near each other.
05Can I meet the team before engaging them?
Yes. Most clients start with a call, and a meeting at the Business Bay office is welcome once you know which specialist you need. Call ahead so the right person is available, because the specialist you want may be with a client that day.
